Meeting Recap – 9/30/15

This week we had a fantastic discussion on how to look at media as a form of scholarship. Joe presented a video he worked on through the Educational Video Center and answered questions regarding the media making process. For more information about EVC (and to see the video) you can check them out here: http://evc.org/mission-history/

We also discussed different reading and writing group opportunities that members of MASCLab are putting together for this year. Once we compile a list of events we will publish them on the website and the MASCLab Facebook page. Please let us know if you have any work group or event announcements that you would like for us to add to the website or the listserv.

At our next meeting – next Wednesday, October 7th from 12-1pm in HM46A – Sam will be sharing her presentation on Scratch and other programming tools she has been using in her work. Ioana also will be sharing a student video about storytelling.

Additionally, in preparation for future meetings, please email us if you have something you know you’d like to share. We would love to hear more about your work!
